For independent shops

Google Business Profile management, so your shop shows up looking right.

When someone searches for a shop like yours, your profile is often the first thing they see. If the hours are wrong or the photos are old, they skip you. We keep it current and send people from it to your site, and once your profile is connected we help you reply to reviews, with drafts you approve.

See how it works in about a minute and a half. Sound on.

What a good profile has

  • Correct hours, including holidays and seasonal changes.
  • The right business categories and a clear list of services.
  • Fresh photos of your real work and your shop.
  • A phone number that gets answered.
  • Replies to reviews, good and bad.

What we do

  • Update hours, services and details when you tell us they change.
  • We flag one star reviews that break Google's rules (fake, spam, off topic, conflicts of interest) and follow up with Google.
  • Help replying to reviews, with drafts you approve once your profile is connected. Nothing posts without your OK.
  • Ask every customer after a job, with three choices: leave a review, refer a friend or send private feedback.
  • Answer calls you miss, with details emailed to you.

What to know

  • Profile updates start after you add us as a manager on your profile. You can remove us any time.
  • We don't promise rankings, and we never write or buy fake reviews.
  • You stay the owner of your profile.

What Google Business Profile management services include

Your Google Business Profile is the box that shows up on Google Search and Maps with your hours, phone number, photos and reviews. Google gives it to you for free. A management service does the upkeep busy owners never get to: keeping the details right, asking for reviews, answering them and making sure the profile sends people somewhere useful.

Most services sell the profile on its own, and many charge a setup fee before they start. Ours comes with the website, call answering and follow-ups the profile depends on, plus the review asks and flagged reviews listed above.

  • Accurate details. Hours, holiday hours, services, phone number and website kept current. Tell us when something changes and we update it.
  • Replies you approve. We draft a reply to each Google review and send it to you by email or text. Reply Y to post it, N to skip it, or EDIT with your own wording.
  • A profile that leads to your site. Your website button goes to a site with pages for the services and towns you actually serve, each written for that place.

How it works

  • 1. Sign up. Pick a plan. There are no setup fees, and your shop is live within 1 to 3 days of paying.
  • 2. Invite us as a manager. In your profile, open Business Profile settings, then People and access, and add the email we show you at signup as a Manager. You stay the owner and can remove us any time. Don't know who owns your listing? We'll help you find the owner email or reclaim it.
  • 3. We get it right. We go through your hours, services, phone number and website with you and fix what's out of date.
  • 4. Then it runs every month. Review asks after every job, drafted replies for your OK, details updated when you tell us, and a report by email.

Google Business Profile optimization: what actually helps

Google says it ranks these results on three things: relevance (how well your profile matches the search), distance (how far you are from the person searching) and prominence (how well known your business is, which includes your reviews and your website). You can't move your shop closer to every customer, so the work goes into the other two. Here's how to optimize your Google Business Profile.

  • Verify it. Google says verified profiles are more likely to show up in search results.
  • Pick the right primary category. It tells Google what kind of business you are. Add more categories only for work you really do.
  • Fill in every field you can. Services, address or service area, hours, holiday hours, phone, website and attributes.
  • Use real photos. Your work, your crew and your shop. People want to see who they're hiring.
  • Keep your details the same everywhere. The name, address and phone number on your profile should match your website exactly.
  • Ask every customer for a review. Reviews then come in all year, and a reply to each one shows people you're paying attention.
  • Give it a good website to point to. When someone taps your website button, the page should match what they searched for: the service they need and the town they're in.

From your profile to your site

Driving traffic to your site is the main job. Someone who finds your profile will call, ask for directions or tap through to your website, and we make each of those land somewhere good. Your site has a page for every service and town you serve, so a person who searched for drain cleaning in your town lands on your drain cleaning page.

If they call and you can't pick up, we answer in your shop's name and email you the details. If they send a request and go quiet, they get a few friendly check-ins until they book or say no.

Restaurants get one more step. With the $99/mo ordering add-on, people who tap through from Google can order on your own site, and orders go straight into your Clover or Square. A 2% fee is built into online prices. See how ordering works

We don't promise leads, calls, jobs or rankings. We do the work every month, and your report shows it.

What Google Business Profile management costs

The profile itself is free. Google doesn't charge to create it, verify it or post to it. What you pay for is the time someone spends keeping it right.

Doing it yourself or hiring it out

You can manage your profile yourself, and plenty of owners do for a while. It's free, and Google's tools are simple enough. The trouble is it's the first thing to slip when you're busy. Holiday hours don't get changed, a review sits for a month without a reply, and the website button points to an old page.

If you hire it out, look for these:

  • You stay the owner. A manager can do the work without your password, and you can remove them any time.
  • No fake reviews, ever. Buying or writing reviews breaks Google's rules and can get reviews taken down or your profile restricted.
  • No ranking promises. Nobody controls Google's results.
  • You approve what's said in your name. Review replies speak for your shop, so you should get a say.

Straight answers

Who can manage my Google Business Profile?

Anyone the owner invites. Google lets an owner add other owners or managers, and each person signs in with their own Google account, so you never share your password. Managers can edit your info, reply to reviews and post updates, but they can't add or remove users or delete the profile. That's how we work: you invite us as a manager and you stay the owner.

How much does Google Business Profile cost?

Nothing. Creating and verifying a Google Business Profile is free, and Google doesn't charge for posts or updates. You only pay if you hire someone to manage it. With us, the profile work is part of System at $279/mo, along with your website, call answering, review asks and follow-ups.

What does Google Business Profile optimization do?

It makes your profile complete and accurate, so Google can match it to the right searches and people can trust what they see. That means the right categories, a clear list of services, correct hours, real photos, steady reviews with replies and a website that matches. Google says businesses with complete and accurate info are more likely to show up in its results.

How much does it cost to optimize a Google My Business profile?

Services we checked in October 2026 charged about $150 to $500 for a one time setup or cleanup, and about $99 to $400 a month to manage one location after that. We don't charge a setup fee. Getting your profile in order is part of System at $279/mo.

Is there a difference between Google My Business and Google Business Profile?

No. It's the same thing with a new name. Google renamed Google My Business to Google Business Profile in 2021, and you can now edit it right from Google Search and Maps.

How do I get my business on top of Google Search for free?

Nobody can promise the top spot, but the free basics do the most: verify your profile, pick the right primary category, fill in every field, keep your hours current, add real photos, ask every customer for a review and reply to the reviews you get. Then make sure your website has a clear page for each service and town you serve. Google ranks these results on relevance, distance and prominence, and a complete profile with a strong site covers the parts you control.

How do I add a manager to my Google Business Profile?

Open your profile on Google Search or Maps, go to Business Profile settings, then People and access, and choose Add. Type in the email address, pick Manager and send the invite. When you sign up with us, we show you the email to invite.

What if I don't know who owns my profile?

It's common when a profile was set up years ago, or by someone who's no longer around. We'll help you find the owner email or reclaim the listing.

Do I lose control of my profile?

No. You add us as a manager and you remain the owner. You can remove us at any time.

Will this make me rank first?

We can't promise that, and nobody honest can. We make sure your profile is complete, current and well reviewed.
